Hi there. I'm looking at possible upgrade paths and am wondering if my memory is compatible with dual channel mobos.
I have 6gb (3x2Gb) Patriot Viper PC3-12800c8 1600mhz low latency triple channel memory sticks on the mobo in my sig and would like to know if these would work on a Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard [GA-Z77X-UD3H] http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-389-GI
I know ram is pretty cheap these days, but if I could retain my existing ram for a bit that would allow more cash to be spent on a larger ssd/better graphics card solution.
