NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! How many of these are coming in?? Really shouldnt but i think it would be rude not to! How far do you think you these would clock, just a guestamate?

You've not got your maths head on - it's a personal gripe of mine :)

Your competitors are charging ~50% more than you, but you're charging ~30% less than them.

This is because you're charging 144 and they are charging 210, so that's 50% on top of your price.

But when it comes to their price of 210, and you selling it 66 cheaper, you're selling it for 30% less.

That said it's a really good deals you've had on 470s and 480s now.

Indeed, for X to be 50% cheaper than Y it has to be sold at 50% of the price of Y. :p

You can claim they're selling it for 50% more than you, however 50% less and 50% more are very different... (150% of the cheaper price against 50% of the higher price).

A classic example of bad advertising maths I saw a while ago was something along the lines of:

"We'll improve your car air conditioning by 10%"

(I don't remember the exact words but they were trying to say they could make it 10% colder)

Now in order to take a % of a temperature you have to do it in K (kelvins)
10% colder than standard cooling (say 290K for example) would have been 261K. That's the same as -12 ºC!!!! I was tempted to email them and ask if they could really make my car sub zero during the summer. :p

Yeah. The other ones that are in stock are normal stock. These ones are where Gibbo has spoken to MSI or their distro and agreed to take a job lot at a sizable discount. It seems that now both ATI and Nvidia when them come to a new series of cards are replacing all the previous generation. That means OcUk can get hold of the stock at a huge discount.
 
Just pre-ordered me one of these as I want to move away from Sli'd 1GB GTX 460's due to going small form-factor and although I was going to save for a 580 after seeing the MSI at this price its got to be worth seeing what this can do with a bit of tweaking :D
 
Hi, I am having problems finding any reviews of this particular card, just want to know its dimensions so as to determine whether it can fit in a silverstone sugo sg05bb itx case....if someone could advise regarding this would be much appreciated, cheers
