As the title suggested i'm looking to buy a good quality smart tv that will do Netflix and similar but it can't be bigger than 28" as it is for a kitchen (most likely wall mounted).

I've seen a half decent 22" one, but thats a bit smaller than i was hoping. Aside from that all the others seem to be missing Netflix (and also the ability to add it as an app) or have no internet capability altogether, or just have poor reviews in general.

Can anyone recommend something that fits the bill? thanks.

in truth ive been looking at 32" earlier this afternoon - anything smaller just doesn't have the features. Whats a few inches between friends?

Current shortlist is a Sony and a Panasonic - i've got one of both makes myself and both are good. Can anyone recommend a 32" model that isnt too sluggish but is under £300?

Is a dumber tv for a £100 less and a roku out of the question ? the only real drawback is two remotes no ? (or can that be circumvented)
Maybe a smaller IPS panasonic with a good viewing angle .

Presumably they have an aerial/freeview feed in kitchen ?

[... I would like to know the knife accident statistics for kitchens with tv's]

How about a whatever size TV and something like an Amazon Fire TV stick? That way it really doesn't matter what TV you get, the stick will be better than the smart features of any budget TV (and most high end ones too).

buy the cheapest 28" you can from john lewis (free 5 year warranty) and a fire stick £20 and job done.

you don't get decent small tv's as manufacturers tend to put money into sets with the highest profit margins so bigger tv's.

so money gets poured into the bigger panels and they tend to have better PQ however their is a point where it does become about size and PQ goes out the window. right now the best sets are 46"-55" IMO. Every few years this increases slightly.

the best small tv you can get is a 32" which if I were you I would buy the 32J6300 and say all the 28" sets were crap which they will be.

the J6300 gets rave reviews and is the only 32" to be reviewed for many years as people aren't interested in buying such a small tv nowadays.

I'm in a similar position where I want a quality 42-46" tv and the decent ones are crazy money. So I'm possibly going to just buy a £300 4K hisense which if fed with a decent source gives brilliant PQ.
