DECT home phone recommendations

I know, it's a mobile phone forum but I couldn't think of anywhere else to post this...

So, I'm after a new cordless home phone, probably with 2 handsets.

Colour screens would be nice but not essential.

Has anyone got any recommendations or any links to decent sites that review these phones?

never had any problems with BT DECT phones if that helps

Only maybe they're a tiny bit quiet

Looked at the panasonic ones? had 2 in the last 4 years been v happy only got a newer one because my old one didnt have text message capability.

Using Panasonic at the moment, can't fault them at all for the 3 years I've had them. Had too many problems with my old BT Synergy range which resulted in the change to Panasonic. Make sure you don't add a Philips DECT within Panasonic's DECT range as they seem to interfere with each other.

Thanks for the pointers - Panasonic seem the most highly thought of apart from a few difficult-to-find Siemens ones.

I have been using Samsung for the past few years without any problem.

I got a new one after dropping the old one into a a cup of coffee. :rolleyes:

I tested it a few months later (with the battery from the new one) and it worked OK.
