Defcon out on the 29th

You can also pre order through steam.

I ordered it off the developers website

A) Its cheaper and they send you the DVD as well

B) Steam sucks camel balls with me. Always has

Im really looking forward to this game. A real change of the norm from some of the other RTS games out at the moment. Not visually stunning but it doesnt need to be. Its also rumoured that you can play this via some kind of spreadsheet system so if you fancy a quick 5 mins at work/uni/college then you can also. In your lunch break of course ;)

Its got a work mode that compresses the game into an 8 hour timeframe, so start at 9, finish at 5. You leave it running in the background and it minimises and just leaves a logo in your tray which flashes to let you know someone has launched a nuke.

as an alpha tester... i'm worried about how good this game will be :S

*fingers crossed* though. I'm looking forward to release.

Why do you say that? as I'm hovering over the preorder button! :p

well the alpha that i tested was non-playable (in that you could only watch the AI's play) and there were many, many bugs. and that was only two months ago. however, it recently went into beta testing of which i've not heard anything about - it has hopfully come a long way and in which case should be a good game. i'm waiting for a demo before ordering though, but at £10 it's not really a great loss. if i was working at the moment i would probably pre-order from their website (not steam).

I was also on the Alpha test. Although not playable, I was worried about the interface. Still can't judge a game without playing it. :p

You can't be serious  I watched the videos and omfg .... the excitement in this game is on line with microsoft Ship Simulator, seriously ;)

Are people actualy serious about buying this game
