I've had no problem with k800i and myphoneexplorer via bluetooth. You've probably not set it up properly.

Your phone has to be added/connected, through your BT software, to a COM port.
Then point MyPhoneExplorer at that COM port, and away you go!:).

One of things i miss about my SE's, was the ease at which i could send messages from my PC without loads of naff, bloated software to do it as i need for my current Nokia.:(.
