Dell 2405FPW, constant high pitch noise?

Hi,

Recently my Dell 2405FPW has been emitting a VERY annoying high pitch sound, just wondering why its doing this?

I`ve read elsewhere that it may be a capacitor on its way out, if so might wanna start searching for a new monitor.
Had it since 1st september 2005, so its had a lot of use.

After my 2407 power button fell off i got a replacement which had this issue.

was VERY annoying and after a phone call they swapped it out again (for the wrong model but we won't go there).

I can only assume it's hardware based on the power board
