Dell 2709w any good?

I've found someone selling the Dell 2709w for £280 which sounds like a bargin for such a high spec monitor, but i'm a little worried about the VA panel with games.

This will mainly be used for my 360 but also as another monitor for my Macbook when i need to work at a desk.

Anyone got any thoughts on this monitor?

I have its little brother the 2707 , I love it great screen , good for games and video
How much warranty is left on it ?
For 280 I would go for it

Reading into it would seem that the A00 version has awful input lag which has been improved in the later A01 and A02. The more i read into this monitor the worse it looks

Look for a cheap 2707 bought mine from the FS section here and love it to bits.

Got a 2709W and I absolutely love it, it was a great upgrade from my 22" in terms of real estate.

Have to say there was some input lag when playing games, but I've been running the monitor since about June and I seem to have gotten used to it!
