Hi,
This might seem like a random question, but I assure you its not
I'm looking at switching my storage system over to a full SES2 compatible setup and have had my eyes on the 12 bay Dell R510 as they occasionally come up for sale in NZ. At the moment there is a fully loaded 8 bay second hand loaded with SSDs and drives (let alone memory!) for quite good value.
I was wondering whether it was possible, like it appears to be on the HP 180G6s to switch the backplane/front of chassis to 12 bays from the 8 bays? I cannot find anything on the web the says you can but having not seen one in person I do not know what the chassis looks like and whether it has such a provision.
Thanks,
Chris
