I am having trouble setting up the U2711 to give me a sharp picture without burning my eyes out with the overpowering white light. Does anyone here know of a guide or a simple solution on how to set the monitor up so i can get a nice image.
I tried those settings (below, correct me if wrong) but didnt get on very well. Still fiddling with it to find the best settings but getting closer to not burning my eyes with the whites.
Quick update on this monitor if anyone else ever gets troubled with calibrating. Before finding this file i was thinking about sending the monitor back.
I am sure that there are differences between individual monitors but the amount of headaches this monitor was giving me and the difference the file made where so large that i thought it useful to mention it.
I fully understand that some of the users on this board use these size monitors for photo editing but for a gamer/movie watcher/bad photographer this file was perfect.
can you remove the anti-glare screen cover from the monitor ? and how ?
I knew there were some posts talking about how to do it but not safe .
Probably there is a safe way now ?
Thank you so much for introducing. I will need some professional help if i make a decision to remove it.
last time i tried to DIY. the pump of my water cooling system was burnt
Some screens seem to develop bad marks on the screen after awhile. I sold the 19" so no idea how it is but im pretty sure i sold to to azza on this forums.
