Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP 24 updates?

Hi ,wouldnt mind one of these , but is there a new version out soon like the 2409, if that is the case would i be better waiting ?

there's already been the Dell S2409W,. but it's different in that it's a more budget TN Film based model

imagine there will be new models as well, but i dont expect any big premium model changes for a little while

OK ,thanks for that , do you think i will notice the difference over my Viewsonic 2435WM ? i would really like to have the DVI back again aswell as you know you only get hdmi and vga and also componant on these

i doubt it's going to be much noticeable difference really....if you were doing side by side comparisons and had pro kit to measure the screens you could tell differences, but i dont think you'd see enough in practice to justify that cost and justify binning your VX2435WM to be honest

Thanks for the replies, I am quite happy with the image on my present monitor but I have an issue when using dvi-i to hdmi on my monitor using an adaptor as I don’t have dvi input only vga,component and hdmi. The image wont scale to the res of the screen ,also tried the same on my hdmi to my TV also behaved in the same way, I changed my card with bfg also tried every graphics driver known to me,bfg said it was probably a motherboard chipset issue so I was about to upgrade anyway so I did and still the same, they then raised the issue with nvidia themselves and have been told to wait until they get a fix although they have said it isn’t a known issue?????. So for now I am using vga and I feel a bit cheated , have you heard of any issues regarding any of this?
