Dell Ultrasharp SP2208WFP 22"

I'm confused too now. I've got one of these on order. Supposedly the one with a webcam and hdmi. It was ordered on Wednesday based on that. I'm not entirely sure what's going on.

If it arrives tomorrow and is the one listed on the site now instead of the one I thought I was buying, I'm going to be a little annoyed.

I'm confused now.

This is the model that was originally linked and I thus thought we were talking about.

But now the link takes us to this model without the cam, Hdmi and usb ports. It also has a 5ms refresh rate instead of 2ms.

Do they both use a TN panel, if so I can't see the benefit of buying the second model as it appears to be worse in nearly every way.

Woah whats goin on. I was goin to get one of these, the "SP2208WFP" model, but now the link in the OCUK news for the SP model goes to the "2208WFP" which is a bit poo in comparison (response time, no usb or webcam etc)

Im really confused too!!!! :(

I almost had my mind set on buying the original model. I was just waiting for a review of it.

Think I'm heading back towards a sammy 226 's' now.

The SP2208WFP actually looks rather good! Here are some reviews:

This display is awfully tempting for just over half the price of the Hazro 24" and seems to be one of the best 22" monitors out there.

Just ordered one of these, as I won £200 on the Premium Bonds this month, which covers the cost of the screen quite nicely. Will report back once I receive it and will do a review comparing it to my current monitor.

It's just arrived and is running through VGA (ewww) on my work PC. First impressions are that it is built very well and there don't appear to be any dead or stuck pixels. Colour wise, it needs a lot of adjustment, but I'll sort that out when I get home and can run it through DVI. Also, the Dell logo is mirror like, which is a little off putting as you can see movement in it.

The glossy screen isn't particularly nice with overhead lighting, but I am sure it will be fine at home in a nicer environment. Gaming should be great.
