could try the apple quicktime hd gallery stuff

Normally they play on nero (and wmp) with the right codecs installed.

Does QuickTime work on 360 via Vista Media Centre?

not as far as I'm aware although assuming media extender works with all codecs (don't use it) you could try using quicktime alternative which will add the codecs to wmp11 etc
