Just had a random restart on my Desire today and now it won't even boot, it'll just stay on the first screen, no boot loop. I can get into the hboot menu but recovery won't even load up! 
Not sure what to try to fix it. Currently messing about with adb to see if my desire can be recognised, but i've never used adb much.
Windows detects the drivers for the phone when i'm in the fast boot menu.
Does anybody have any tips on how to fix this. Can't seem to do anything with the phone.
It was fully rooted and running a custom sense ROM before.
EDIT: The phone is recognised if I use fastboot.
