Yeah, if I create another character, shards will be needed once again.

I went from desperately needing shards on Monday night to get my shop-bought 33 chest armour upgraded to make it to level 31, to having no use for them at all by Tuesday night once I picked up the raid chest armour in Crota's End. So, unless I create another character, there is literally nothing I can use them for - I've got fully upgraded 33 gloves, raid boots and chest armour, and exotic helm.

I guess it's just really dawned on me that I'm going to have to run through the new raid about 20 times to get the radiant shards to upgrade the raid armour, whereas previously, doing Nightfall, Weekly, Public Events etc all contributed to getting ascendants. Only getting raid loot once per week means it will be a very long time before I'm anywhere near level 32! :(

The only drop worth getting from VoG is the Mythoclast, and even that is doubtful until they confirm it can be upgraded. Everything else is 300 attack max.

I expect a revamp of this new raid gear upgrade system, I'm going to be stashing my radiants for now until they sort it out.

Fatebringer, Mythoclast, anything really. Got VoC and Praedyth's from the first few weeks of the raid, but nothing since.

Don't really mind the levels at this point (although I do expect them to be upgraded soon), just fancy trying out a new toy :D

Sorry, just seen this post. Unfortunately it's my work's xmas party tonight so won't be around in the eve. Should be around Thur/Sat/Sun though

Fatebringer and VoC are still my go-to guns. Wish they would upgrade them to the new max level. I don't care if they reset, I'd just love to have a 331 Fatebringer! I even have two now after Monday night.

The only VoG weapons I still need are Praetorian Foil, Atheon's Epilogue, and Corrective Measure, but I don't have much appetite to keep trying for them unless there's hope of them being upgraded.

I don't mind starting a Hard Mode from scratch but the earlier the better as I have a pick up run between 2145 and 2215, so be MIA for 30mins. Last night was an exception as my understanding missus saw how excited I was, wanting to do CE :p

e: I have a Templar Check Point for Normal Run VoG if that's of any use to anyone?

Yeah definitely up for finishing off Crota, Thursday would be good for me as I can't make fri, sat or sun evening though should be able to make sat and sun during the day. If it doesn't fit in when I can do it though then no worries was good to get as far as we did.

Yeah no idea why I said VoG, I meant Crota's End but it appears as if you're full now so no worries :p If anyone drops out I'll gladly step in!
 
Ok assuming I get some time this evening I'll just create a party and cast some invites around and see who's about.

I also wanna do an Atheon hard CP if anyone has it?

Finished that Eris bounty so I can pick up some nasty thrall skin gauntlets from Xur tomorrow. Lunch time today will be glimmer farming for Xur, yay.

Got a legendary heavy weapon engram for finishing Eris quest.....shards! FU RNG!
