I'd be up for a VOG Run if you don't mind me dragging my 27 Warlock through it (that might drop it down to being a normal run so happy to step aside if you want to do hard).. as usual, would be 8pm start for me though.

Would love to but I'm off up to Bonnie Scotland tonight. My game time will be severely limited until the 2nd Jan now.
I'll see what evenings I can get on without peeing off the fam too much!
Does that mean you'll miss our usual Tuesday CE run?
VoG hard or normal is fine by me. Am about tomorrow also if needed but then won't be around until next monday

there is no way you can do hard with a 27, the majority of enemies would be one shot killing you, it would be playing with 2 men down as there would be more enemies (it scales with the number of players) and you would be doing zero damage to bosses
29 is the minimum for hard VOG
I'm glad people have replied to ShakeNBake as they have as I found it hard to convince him last night that the strat we were using (near identical to Thor's) was more than fine and we just need to finesse the timing to get Crota down. I knew the bubble was useless for the sword bearer but he wouldn't listen to me at the time sadly...
Least we know we are doing the right thing as we thought, just getting the swordbearer down asap is important - while the combo Zoomees was using was something he was comfortable in doing consistently.

That's why i said it would drop it down to a normal. I've no intention of running hard at Lvl 27.

Honestly the 2 times I've done it was pretty simple with me and you with gjallarhorn and lazyboy using the sword, while everyone else fills in the other roles where needed. There was very little timing to it either, as soon as he picked up the sword everyone DPS the boss with primary weapon fire and then we he jumps up we let off a single gjallarhorn rocket each to finish the job. There was no waiting either, was literally he grabs the sword and the boss is down by the time he gets over there and jumps up. As soon as you get the rhythm going it was just as easy as Atheon and the only thing catching us off guard was people being 1 hit killed due to being under leveled.
I'm up for a normal run, might be nearer 8 when I get on
What level do you need to be for this? I've got a L22 Titan that I wouldn't mind doing something involving actual teamwork with! I'm around tonight, I'll keep an eye on this thread and the other Destiny one. I only have the core game.
You'll need to be level 26 minimum tbh. If you keep grinding for marks and gear, you should be good next week
