I'll be on but not sure if I'm ready for it yet (or what I need to do to be 'ready').
Good bit of fun last night. 
No idea what happened on our first attempt at Crota. Four rockets connected from my point of view but he didn't drop when I went for the first hit (of course he dropped right after killing me of course...
).
Second run and we had him without issue.
Thanks to Greboth & Rooster for helping Moody through the 32 PoE. Went very smoothly. She is not rocking her new chest piece.
Attempted a re-roll on my second Dreamwalker. Got G&HS multiple times but not with tripod. Out of motes again so will have to wait until I have some more to re-roll again.
Looking forward to IB this week.

As long as you have 100 glimmer, you're ready.
We could run through PoE 32 quickly to get you to level 33, but it doesn't make too much difference.
I'd be up for it, if you don't think I'd be too much of a liability!

I'm working from home today so will be on much earlier than normal from about 17:30, wouldn't mind giving the Trials another go but not sure my PvP skills will help you too much getting to 9 though!

I have not touched Destiny in ages... only went on Friday to buy a gauntlet for the Warlock on Friday. Will a level 32 be 'good' enough to jump back in or better to do the story and level up gear before attempting anything else?
Been busy with so many other games (Read: Neverwinter / Borderlands), I feel I am off Destiny long enough to start it again before I am lost again next week when ESO is out.

Yeah, 32 is high enough to do all the new content and get you started on getting new gear together to get to level 33/34.
It's fairly easy to get to level 33, just upgrade an exotic and buy whatever armour piece variks is selling with an armour core that you earn from the level 32 prison of elders arena. Then you can attempt the level 34 and so on

The Trials are level dependent so at 32 you would be at a bit of a disadvantage, ideally if you did the story and then get someone to do the 32 Prison of Elders with you (I'd be happy to help) that would get you to 33 assuming you have a exotic shard to upgrade an exotic. The story missions are actually not too bad this time and don't take too long to complete. Also its Iron banner this week which I think a few of us will be up for so getting to 33 will also help there.
If you really went for it you could get to 34 tomorrow as its reset day!
give me a shout online if you want someone to bash through the story missions with you.
Yeah, the 32 takes about 30 mins to complete so we can run through that quickly beforehand. You can use your key on the big chest at the end. If you've not opened it previously, I think you're pretty much guaranteed an exotic. You're also pretty much guaranteed a Queen's legendary weapon, but they're a bit hit-and-miss. You'll get an Armor Core after completing the 32 which will allow you to buy the chest armour from Variks and get you to 33.
To be honest, when we played Trials yesterday, we were running with a 32 and 2x 33s and we didn't do too badly, so levelling up isn't massively important, but every little helps.
Weapons wise, it's best to have your primary maxed to 365. Most people use Thorn and the rest use Last Word, Vex or Red Death. Sniping is useful to offer cover and pick off one or two, but rushing in with shotguns is also pretty rewarding.
I'll be on from just after 6 so I'll give you a shout and we can have some practice matches before giving it a proper go.

I don't know what happened there either, 4 rockets (and I think all jellyhorns) hit him, maybe the timing was off so required the wolfpack to fully take down his shield. Amazing how difficult it was when CE came out but now everyone is the correct level pretty easy to walk through the whole raid. Wouldn't mind giving CE Hard mode a try sometime as never got through it with any OCUK or LFG group.
No problem with the PoE, I wasn't aware that you some rewards fromt he chests even if you do it a second time. 32 is pretty easy to get through though, I just need to get my warlock up to 34 so I can start reliably getting some etheric light.
Sounds good to me! Really I need to just upgrade my praedyth's revenge, jolders hammer and some armour then I'm away! I think I used my treasure key on the 28 big box then, so hopefully will rustle up another beforehand (still need that damn gjally). Got a P&T...
Most likely this. I am so used to hitting him as soon as the rockets connect (to get the extra hit) I sometimes forget that the timing might be slightly out due to various reasons. Not a problem though, he still went down like a sack of spuds!
