I've just got this mobo for my bro, and the system is all up and running perfectly (prime stable at 2.65Ghz from a X2-3800+)
I've just tried to enable the sound (the audio module is plugged in), windows has recognised it and installed the drivers, the NV Spectrum Analyser shows sound is being played, but i cannot get a peep from the speakers (2.1 Aego's).
The only time i've managed to get sound, is by enabling 7.1 surround sound and plugging the speakers's into the 'centre' socket, but the quality is shocking.
I'm thinking the onboard sound is borked, if it is, i'll buy a cheap sound card from a local store. However, just wanna check I haven't missed a jumper setting or anything before i spend any cash...
Any suggestions would be appreciated...
