Performace between DFI LanParty UT NF4 SLI-D \ Ultra-D

Hi,

Can anyone advise on which of the above two mboards I should go for and what difference in performance "if any" are to be expected, my proposed system is: -

AMD Opteron 146 (CAB2E 0546FPMW  )
G.Skill 2GB DDR HZ PC4000 (2x1GB) CAS3 Dual Channel Kit
PixelView 7800 GT (WONT EVER SLI)

Thx.

If you need SLi theres a mod for the Ultra to enable SLi! And according to OcUK the Ultra comes with an SLi bridge...

I'd post the link to the mod but its on DFI-street.com and the site is down.

Cheers for the replys, the batch code on the CPU has changed (CACJE 0546BPMW to CAB2E 0546FPMW  ) but should still clock pretty well (CROSSES FINGERS).

Apart from the obvious difference (SLi / non-SLi) is there any other differences between the two?

Also while I have the right peoples attention ;) which PSU would you guys recommend.

Thx

Yep they are identical boards. I have an Enermax Liberty and it seems like a very good psu, pretty quiet too. I'd say Enermax>Seasonic (cos it costs a lot)>Hiper.

I have an Enermax noisemaker 485 and it's been fine for my system for over a year now, and it was cheap too.

Though when i had cold boot issues with my ultra d, i'd have given my right arm for a powerstream. Changed my ram instead and that sorted the issue.

If you're not going high voltage on your ram i'm pretty sure it would do you.

whatever you do don't get an Antec Neo HE. Ive just bought a 500w and im bricking myself as to whether it will work with my epox 9NDA+ SLI when it arrives!

Decided upon the Enermax Liberty 400W, got it a bit cheaper than usual :) and with it having one 12cm fan it should be reasonably quite.

I bought myself an Enermax Liberty last week... it is fairly quiet, at least quieter than my old Enermax Coolergiant! Seems to run good and all the rails are pretty much spot on.

personally id go for the sli-d even if you dont intend on sli-ing, it will be easier to sell in the future.
