I've read a few reviews and this comes out top, is it really that good? I maybe selling my Asus K8VSE Deluxe soon and that would fit the bill nicely.

A rock solid board, supports all skt754 cpus and has a huge array of tweaking options. I have one in my HTPC and it is rock solid and heavily overclocked (amd 3000 venice core clocked at 10multix270mhz=2.7ghz), has firewire, 4 sataI ports, 8 usb. I picked mine up as open box bargain from a major online retailor for £35, absolute steal.
Only problem it has is that it is an AGP motherboard and upgrade options are getting harder to find and are on the whole more expensive than pci-express solutions.

Just my 2 penneth

It is an excellent board, but with the drawbacks mentioned by Super Tigers.

I had one (still got it sitting in it's box) until I went pcie and it was excellent in every way - I'd have gone for another dfi if they had a socket 754 / pcie version.

Highly recommended :)

Been using one for ages, excellent board, more overclocking options than you will EVER use (trust me on that one ;)) and takes every CPU that fits the socket, inc DTRs.

Only problem is a cold boot issue, although a BIOS flash sorts this. Make sure you have the latest BIOS really.

Highly recommended.

Just to add to that... if you look on the DFI site, there is an Infinity nF4X board (PCIe instead of AGP), which is basically the Lanparty board without the coloured PCB. Haven't managed to find it available in the UK yet though. A pity.

You could stick next door's cat in the socket and the bios would recognise!!! :D

You'd upset the cat, and I expect overclocking potential would be limited with a thick shield of fur around the core.

:D

I even tried phoning DFI in Holland to ask if I could buy it anywhere in the UK.

Typically Dutch reply was that it was available in the UK, but you couldn't buy it anywhere. I think he may have been shmoking something ;) Possibly a cat.

If they don't like water, what kinda feline-related overclock would I expect with a Zalman Reserator? :D
