Anyone know how to find out revision number of board - having to download sata raid drivers and need to know mobo revision first

SATA RAID drivers are in the nF4 Chipset package (nV IDE SW drivers). Anyway, the revision is on a sticker on the base side of one of the lower PCI slots.

There are no instructions with the mobo on how to load the raid drivers but the overclocking thread dedicated to the dfi has a great walkthrough stating that they have to be loaded from a floppy disk which is included with the package.

It's the only way to get RAID to work?

Are you trying to install Windows onto a RAID array or set one up within windows?

Right, so you will need the nF4 RAID driver disk.

http://us.dfi.com.tw/Support/Downlo...D=3471&CATEGORY_TYPE=LP&STATUS_FLAG=A&SITE=US for any others except the chipset driver which you should get from nvidia directly as they have the latest and not the old one as listed on DFI.

I was under the impression that there were diff drivers depending on mobo revision but I'll just bang these on and see what happens

No, drivers are the same as the chipset hasn't had any new revisions with a different SATA controller. In fact, the new revisions only really had new BIOS's or something completely irrelevant.
