Dice Key-chains...

http://i1094.photobucket.com/albums/i444/Jaffa_Far/IMG_0665.jpg[IMG]

I think they are quite funky, I need to find a slightly smaller drill bit as the holes are slightly too large at the opening of the holes.
They look very poorly made. I wouldn't have one even if it was free :o

Better if a 'screw' keychain was used and screwed into the corner of the dice. I'm talking about the ones where the keychain is actually screwed into the object instead of using a 'link' to attach the object.

If it was a keyring with a special dice holder that can be opened/locked with the dice in it so it could be removed for proper use you might be onto something.

This however? I'm out.

A certain website that specialises in imported wholesale goods (not sure if I can mention as may be competitor but think "40 thieves") has a better quality version for sale wholesale at 6.3p each...

Based on that, I too am out :)

For example.

Qty 100

Dice cost (100): £4.10 ~ £0.04 each
Keychain (100): £10.60 ~ £0.11 each
Packaging: Jiffy bag (100) £8.29 ~ £0.08 each
Postage: RM 2nd Class large letter £0.69p

£1.50 selling price plus £0.77 postage (£2.27)

Cost to produce 100: £14.70
Shipping costs (100): £77
eBay/ Paypal fee (100): £43.00

Before costs: £227.00

Profit: £92.30

Problem being on eBay already being sold for £1.98 inc postage. Which would give you profit of £59.30. Plus they haven't sold anywhere near 100.

Don't be discouraged though, eventually you come across a winning idea. Not easy mind, and is usually in small niche markets.
