Yeah, but I'd still have to source a trustworthy copy of Win7 64-bit. Also I bought my PC as a package from this parish and I'd void my overclock support if I changed the RAM, so still considering how best to go about that. If it's going to be a couple of years before 64-bit OS is required, I'm probably better waiting for my next full system upgrade.
