The best part of The Crystal Maze was when Richard O'Brien would sometimes get bored during a challenge and start playing his harmonica.

Either that or his ramblings to camera while the contestants flailed around off screen.

During its hey-dey this was compulsory viewing. They don't make 'em like that anymore.

By a long way. When they got rid of one zone and brought in that new one it sucked as well.

That programme really is vintage though. When you're ill, nothing beats lying in bed like a sack of **** watching non-stop Crystal Maze on challenge

LOL that's spot on.

Crystal Maze is easily the best "challenge" TV show ever made. I used to write in every year begging to go on the kids version that aired every New Years Day... never got the chance to though.

If they ever brought it back i'd be going to wherever C4 offices are personally to beg for a place.
