Did the cold affect your car ?

stupid stupid washer jets. grrr. still frozen by the time i got to work. no other problems other than slower cranking on one morning when it was -4c according to my temp thingy lol. other than that, all good

Just took the MX5 out. Started on the button, no problems at all. Gearbox was a bit stiff for the first couple of miles though

Having just popped out to the supermarket I've just discovered F1's are useless in the snow. They're even worse when trying to reverse up a snowy hill cause they're directional.

Well this cold weather has totally done my car in. The fuel pump won't prime so I think frozen condensation is the culprit for that. A fellow Fiestarse owner is having the same problem. I really hope I don't have to take the fuel tank out again :(

My fiesta fuel pump has died totally it seems :(
No problems whilst running in this weather, until that ^ (although it didn't really like starting on the day that pump died...20s+ cranking time :s)

that is literally the most pathetic amount of snow ever.

:p

Wow... this year?

yeh, it's from norway last january. that was the sight that greeted me when i got out of the airport after the xmas holidays. just felt like posting it :p

i'm in belgium atm and we've got about 5 or 6 inches, which is quite a lot, relatively speaking

hmm, the front street seems to have an interesting ice rink effect going on today, car starts skidding as soon as you touch the brake, it's pretty amusing tbh.

I've noticed my car is quite sluggish for about 5 mins until the engine temp is up a bit. I've also noticed a louder induction & exhaust noise. The brakes are quite sharp for the first mile or so too.

No such problems here.

The Coupe fires up 1st time every time, although it did give a little squeak from the alternator belt the other night so I might re-tension the belt if it happens again.

The new 420 hasn't been started in about 9 days and so after finally sorting out an electrical problem on it today, turned the key with my fingers crossed. 1st time.

Rovers eh? ;)

couldnt get my t4 up the final steep hill to home today :(

So I walked home and went back down with snow chains! Alas... they were too small for the tyres... hopefully the road conditions will improve and I can get it back home:)

The Mondeo doesnt like these freezing temperatures. Its very lazy and doesn't like to rev until its warmed up. Any ideas whats causing this anybody?

Mines a bit iffy starting first time but second time it's fine.

Had some fun in the snow today on works carpark :D

Yep, my exhaust sounds fantastic below -1'C, no idea why  Other than that it was business as usual.

I retract my previous assesment.

My heater motor now has regained its high pitch shriek. I also seem to have gained 400 bits of rattling interior trim which reduces the longer the heaters have been on.
