Hi Gang im looking at tuning my missue's saab 93 1.9 tid its a common rail diesel and I know you can get fairly decent performance from one ( bearing in mind its running tractor fuel ) so heres the question... do I go for a remap or do i go for one of the tuning boxes that plugs into the common rail? anyone got any experiance with these?

cheers in advance

Custom map with rollers.
*edit*
My mate has bluefin'd his TDdi and it did make big difference. But to get the best map it would have to be custom.

I have a DTUK green Eco tuning box and its the same one you would put on the TiD puts my 150BHP Astra to around 200 this isn’t RRd but there is a huge difference! They only problem with mine is the alternator went just after two weeks of putting the box on this was a £400 fix but I was assured it was just a coincidence as there are not known to break theses! I got mine very cheep and its awesome fun shocking a lot of drivers out there with a 200BHP oil burner :D :D

But yes a remap is the best option but I didnt fancy paying £500+ on one, the DTUK box cost me next to nothing.

i have fitted loads of the DTUK boxes and they are really good. Customers have always been happy with the results. The boxes come with a selection of different maps so you can fine tune it.
