My parents are looking for a digital camera for holidays as they have a video camera already.

Main points :

1)Big screen on the back
2)Decent Quality
3)big storage capacity (via extra mem card etc)

Anyone got any idea what is a good one?
I've looked on various sites and its hard to find the LCD size on the back

Have you tried the photography section?

The new Sony's have very large touch screen displays as far as I'm aware.

the sony's are nice, but memory sticks are still more expensive than other memory types and the touch screen will be a pain when you get greasy fingermarks on it.

The canon ixus range are good.

Have a look at 'buttons' mini review of his Ixus 800is - he seems to like it and the IS might be useful to stop camera shakes. I also have the same camera as an 'always with me' cam and i love it.

True about the sony's, I was just concentrating on one factor.

Anyway, as a point and click I like the little Casios. They are good all-rounders and manage to be small and yet have large screens at the same time, certainly larger than what I've seen on the equivalent Canons and such.
