I'm looking for a as cheap as possible (For 18th Birthday, parents aren't going to spend more than £250) Digital Video Camera. I'm absolutely clueless, all I want to do is record me and my mate when we live at a ski resort in the winter so we can transfer it to a laptop and upload it. I know there are loads of different types of storage - mini HDD's, DVD's, Flash.... can anyone give me a heads up on what's good and bad about these types of storage and what sort of price I'm looking at? I have the feeling this is one of those "you get what you pay for" situations
