A friend of mine asked me to look at his pc as it sounded like it was taking off. The PSU was ready to burn his house down so I stuck my barely used spare cooler master mwe 500w in there.
He has a Radeon R7 370 GPU, 16gb DDR3 1666 RAM, an Asus M5N97 motherboard and an AMD FX 8350 CPU with a really awful cooler master cooler on there that was caked in dust. I've popped a spare 1tb HDD in there and a Kingston 240gb SSD for Windows but where do I start? His budget is small but luckily he doesn't really game too much only football manager now and again. All of his case fans are exhausts for some reason which I'll sort out.
Where would you start with this? His budget is £300-£400 max so I'll keep the GPU for the time being. He has a monitor and peripherals and he can keep the storage and PSU I gave him. The case we can keep too even though its not ideal.
