Bought dirt 2 from team. I need to activate it on my games for windows live id but when i sign it it comes up " region not available ". Network status says IP Address not signed in and UPnP not signed in... any help?

nope. I checked me account personal details and its set up for UK. Still not letting me in.
UPnP might be the problem you need this running to enable Port Forwarding. On Vista ensure the SSDP Discovery Service service is started otherwise ask MS on their own forums as they have plenty of techies manning it now.

Fallout3 does not use online features of GFWL which is why it probably works ok on your PC. Dirt2 does and that's probably related to you not seeing UPnP enabled as GFWL needs port forwarding & firewall entries which should usually be automatic but many PC's have security settings which prevent the GFWL setup from adding the required entries! This is where most of the problems start I'm 100% sure that as your using a UK profile it will work fine its just a case of finding the security settings to change.

This gives you a list of things which you can check yourself as the MS staff are obviously on US time:

Got it working now. Seems to be that the 2 ethernet ports on my router are different :\ i tried plugging it in the other one and rebooting it and its seemed to work.

Yep that's usually the case plus some ISP's block GFWL & or XLive ports from working even after you add them they manually reset back every month without telling you (BT are a big culprit of this ).
