Disconnecting the tricool fans on a P183

Are the tricool fans hard wired to the switches on a P183 or do they disconnect as easy as normal 120mm fans with out having to physcialy cut anything?

I'd like to know this as well as am considering buying a P193 and would like to remove the rear 120mm fan and replace with a Corsair H50.
