Disk 2 Disk backups

Guys & Gals,

We're currently in the market for some good disk to disk backup software. I've had a look at ArcServe D2D, was mildly impressed but seemed a little simple really. Not much to configure etc.

Does anyone else use something else thats good for backing up remote sites, and includes dedupe?

I'm sure I've posted this before but the Arcserve software is deeply unintuitive and a total pain to trouble shoot.
To fix a problem with AOFO we had to apply additional permissions to all the files on the server we wanted to back up.

Try taking a browse on their website for support, or actually finding anything and you'll see what I mean.

Backup Exec's solution is just as good, if a bit more expensive due to licensing.

Would any of the Acronis backup solutions be sufficiant?

Have a look at this company http://www.datastor.com/

This software has dedup and works great for backing up remote servers over slow link. Software is getting updated in Dec 2010 to include bare metal recovery.
