so all you budding d.i.y hobbist out there have you made your own stands for your lovely g25 wheel,if so could you possiable give me some ideas on how you done yours.
i have a stack of wood mostly thick woodden planks you would use for a gate ect about an inch or so thick that i got for nothing and wondered if i could make a stable unit.

i have seen loads of pricey stands that you can buy but i wanted to try and build one first and see,i have seen gamers use black and decker tables but would rather try and build something more nicer.:D

Steel and welding is the only way to go. Let me know if you are near me as I am in the middle of nowhere as well.

cheers so far for the links like kylew said top two are 404's,im not all the good with metal and welding also after splashing out on this g25 im skint:eek:

also space is very limited to a degree also want it to fit nicely in between my desk and pc chair.my desk is to small for it to fit on so gotta make some sort of frame that it be stable.

i live near nottingham namnoc

off top of my head the first 2 had the one i thought was the best and didnt seem too hard to make. i actually made the one on the avforums link that slides under the sofa as didnt have enough space back then but now ive got more space i might build the one in the first two links
