DIY : Installing an LNB for Freesat - help plz!

Sorry for not posting since Friday. It was raining here on Friday so I am still waiting to install the LNB, but I seem to have run into another problem.

The WF100 connectors were slightly more difficult sliding on to the co-ax cable, even with the silicone grease!

The biggest problem has been drilling a hole through to the outside from my downstairs room. I had a RF out socket in the wall, which I took out and then decided to make a hole through to get to the outside. I am using a 10' 400mm drill and at about 200 mm it just hits something hard which it just does not want to go through! Now I know the water pipes are running under the floor and the electrics vertically up (it was an extension so I know where all the bits are) but still no access to the outside world! A little stumped to be honest lol!

Well guys, today I got on the roof and swapped the single LNB for the quad. Took note of how the old one was facing but even then the new one wasn't quite aligned correctly (so had a live person view the signal strength/quality) and got it spot on. Picture quality if better all round actually with the quad :-)

Was a real easy job and took less than 5 mins in the end. The lack of a hole in the wall still remains an issue!
