Just been at my mate's new flat decorating it for when she moves in and I managed to put my hand through the window after about 5 mins of arriving!

yeh theres a big one on my hand but it's only just under the skin, the ones with small strips on have been glued together as they went right through the flesh and when I took the initial bandage off a nice bit of flesh fell on the floor

hadn't been drinking, my mate opened a window in the flat to clean it but couldn't close it from the inside so I went on the balcony outside to push it shut and my hand went straight through it where it was old glass, I came back in to see if my mate was ok as he just had glass smash in front of his face. I looked at my arm and saw blood everywhere, especially on the 3 deep cuts glued together so my mate rushed me to hospital in my car

And people wander why the NHS is under pressure.

A couple of girly scratches

I rememeber when i had both legs severed in a nasty paperclip recoil accident, stuck em in a bag and went down B&Q in the morning and grouted them back on.

Kids today, don't know how lucky you are.

:D

i drove through a window on a toy car. I cut my face and arms but i was 4 years old and grew out of the scars. Infact, i don't remember driving through a window, i'm told i did. Are my parents lying to me?
(it was a panel door with 3 windows, top middle and bottom, i drove through the bottom one. i think.) if anyone knows napoleon dynamite i might add "or something."

i fell through a glass door when i was about 7, the noise was so loud that the local bobby who lived 10 doors down came to see what had happened.

I was lucky, needed 2 stitches at the top of my right leg.

Some nasty cuts there matey, i had my head superglued wheni cut it open and now you cant even see a scar. Always keep a tube in the car incase of emergencies now. :p

Am i right in thinking that superglue was being used as a first aid product during the Vietnam war, its main use was for stopping bleeding? Dont know where i read that.

Glass doors are great. I chased a ball through one when I was a toddler (not that I remember it) still got faint scars on my forehead and above my eye.

As for the OP, have you now learned that maybe you should apply pressure to the frame rather than the glass when pushing windows closed? ;)

Ouch dude :p

Why didn't you just say to your mate you didn't want to do it? :p

oh shes a girl...right I see ;)

ANYwho, if you want the xr3i taking anywhere...let me know ;)

yeh that was the plan :p

I think I already broke the law last night, my mate drove the car to hospital and then took me home, he's on a ban :p

Fulfilling the Essex in you to the fullest!

Excellent :D

did you cut your nerves aswell then? if you didn't it must have really hurt. When I put my hand through a window it sliced the nerves and half a tendon in my finger.

I don't think I cut anything important, I can still move my hand and fingers. It didn't hurt at all though just got very stiff, think partially down to the andrenaline of just putting a window through, first thing I done was to check my mate was ok from the window smashing in front of his face, then I looked down to see blood all over the floor and on my arm and hand and then just thought **** I better go to hospital!
