Do diferent types of games drain you're energy fast?

Sometimes, I don't tend to get tired as start to lose interest in the game. Things like GTA 4, I found that if I died in a mission, I would literally instantly lose interest in the game, and ALT F4 (aka rage quit) out of it.

Games with a lot of clicking/mouse movement can make my hands fatigued. For example if I'm playing QW FFA for an hour that means probably ~500 frags and pretty much non-stop action.

Generally speaking I don't actually feel tired until after I stop playing, then it hits me like a wave. Say 10 years ago when I used to go to LANs, I could have had no sleep for 30 hours and feel fine while playing due to the adrenaline rush but then be exhausted within a minute of standing up from the computer.

I play COD-4 every night on the same server, they only play Deathmatch, there is no teamwork involved, basically you kill anyone that comes between your sights ... it's great fun, right from the kick-off your thrown into utter chaos. Usually I play about 30 mins and then I'm shagged-out, grab a beer and then rejoin the mayhem. A lot of it psychological, if your on a killing spree slaughtering opponents you don't want to quit and your blood is pumping, the opposite is also true in that if you are continually getting obliterated, your more likely to quit the game and go and do some knitting. :)
