Do free calls show up on a BT bill?

As per title. Calls made to landlines at off peak are free on BT. Do the numbers called show up on the itemised bill as 0.00 cost or are they just left off?

They are left off. Bill will show total number of free calls made and the total duration. They are not itemised individually.

Thanks for the answer but I realise my question wasn't very clear. What I need to know is whether the phone number that I called will be shown on the bill ie will it list

0122 222222 6calls ?

Sorry, this question may seem inane but is actually quite important and urgent and I don't have a bill to check.

It is on a bt total broadband package by the way in case that makes a difference.

They are shown on the bill but charged at 0.00. Unlucky.

No it doesnt show up like that either. It looks like this:

Free calls 1:35:25 0.00p

as in 1 hours 35 mins in total of calls costing zero. No numbers are itemised at all for the free ones.

Online bill is no diff from paper one for free calls.

They dont show at all, whether you ask or not. Even on a fully itemised bill, free calls are not itemised.

I'm intrigued as to why you wouldn't want it to show up

Maybe he does want it to show up as he has lost a number which he knows he has called. Either way they dont show

I won't go into too much detail but I have made several calls to my parent's home phone from another phone. I may soon be in an acrimonious dispute with someone who will have access to that bill. I don't want them to see my parent's no, realise what it is and call my parents. My parents are both elderly and my mother gets very upset quite easily over things like this and the dispute is nothing to do with them. So nothing salacious but it is very important to me to find out whether their no will show on the bill. Unfortunately I do not know the password to the bt.com online bill.

Could I just check one more thing. The phone is on the total broadband package. I used the phone on the hub but I am certain it has not been set up to use the internet calling (voip) that is part of the package. In this case does it use the normal landline through the hub? If so will the calls (all after six and at weekends) come under the free calls?

Sorry to be a pain but I don't have long to sort this out and finding out the details is proving difficult. I just saw in the small print on the web site that it mentions some opt in to the free calls and suggested that the free calls are part of the voip package which I think is included but hasn't been set up yet.

All total broadband packages that have the hub and phone sent out are setup on broadband talk. If the hub phone allows you to make calls then the voip is setup. Basic broadband talk package has eve and weekend free calls as standard and is billed in same way, so the calls wont be itemised on the bill. The hub phone does not make the calls on the normal line in any circumstances.

The opt in is for the free call package on the normal landline. All broadband talk users have evening and weekend free calls as standard.
