Looking for a monitor to watch some Sky HD via HDMI

22" does it need to be HDCP or if a monitor has HDMI input it already is HDCP compliant?

Yes you need HDCP to use HDMI output from a SkyHD box. All HDMI inputs will be HDCP compliant, most modern monitors with DVI should also be HDCP compliant . If your monitor has DVI check on the manufacturers website whether it is HDCP compliant.
