Do I need a new water pump?

Every morning now, esp cold and damp ones, my water pump is emitting a squeaky squeeling sound which stops after a few minutes of driving.
No drop in coolant levels as of yet but the sound is very annoying and can be heard over the engine inside the car with doors and windows shut

Does this mean my pump is on its last legs?

How much will a new one cost roughly?

Is it not the aux belt that is squeeling because it is incorrectly tensioned?

Nah the belts been replaced and it was doing it before the belt was touched
If i squirt WD40 onto the water pump bearing it seems to stop briefly

bugger, I guess u replace the pump before it dies then!!!
