Do I need to upgrade from a i7 4790k at stock speeds

Really undecided on if I need to drop my i7 4790k, I don't even overclock it because I have not been able to find a z97 itx or m-atx board anywhere. I play the likes of battlefront and battlefield and I have zero issues, in fact the only struggles now are my 1060 starting to not be quite enough because I'm doing more downsampling.

Would I be better off slapping a Vega 56/1070 in my current build or go RYZEN and get the benefits of DDR4 and what not ?
