Do you blame your parents for anything in your life?

Nothing really, parents have always been great. I attribute my Dad's death to a lot of my trust issues, though, and also perhaps why I'm a lot more comfortable with female friends than male ones a lot of the time.

My dad was a bully a total waste of space.

I'd get a smack for know reason apart from being in the same room, constantly being put down for not being as clever as him.

Same with me, he was his own biggest fan. Even now if thinks he's some kind of genius about every subject in life, not helped by the fact that his half-wit friends look up to him like some kind of messiah.

He would also throws a tantrum at a drop of the hat if he didn't get his own way or you do something he thinks is wrong, which is very often. My mum just goes long with it to keep the piece. She comes across as an emotional coward and pretends that the beating i got as a kid never happened.

Dont blame my mom for anything...shes been good as gold to me and my brothers and has always been there.

My dad?? another case entirely..i blame him for my baldness:p...but i blame him for more leaving us in the lurch because one day he woke up and thought i dont want to be married anymore...happened when i had finally got myself into uni at his insistence but yet not a yr went by before he ditched and i had to drop out to come home to pay the bills and a mortgage that hadnt been paid for 6mths ie repossession proceedings had started against us...did my dad even care?? nope not for one single bit.

Obviously that happened about 17 yrs ago and now hes realised the error of his ways but for me my brothers....we dont really respect him and see him more as a friend than a father...he was a rubbish dad when we were growing up..tight as hell with money so we didnt have the latest stuff at school.

My parents are deeply religious (practising christians) it messes with just about every part of your life growing up, I find it hard to blame them for it as they are decent people and naively well intentioned. But it was certainly no fun as a kid - just about everything was banned and would "send your soul straight to hell".

Actually, that's one thing you can blame you mother for. Male pattern baldness is passed down genetically from her... so your grandad (her dad) was probably bald. Your dad is bald because his mum's dad was bald etc...

My mums family all had full hair until the end. I was going bald at 18. That's blown your theory out of the water.

I got my Mum's eye sight and my Dad's hair. Bald at 18, blind at 13 - great.
