Hi all,

Just had a bit of a scare. I thought I lost my wallet, fortunately I fond it after about an hour of mad searching.

I only realized when it was missing that there is so much important stuff in their that would be a real hassle/cost to get back.

My wallet included;

2 Bank Cards
Driving License
Gym Card
Phone Top Up
'loyalty cards'
Next Hair Cut Appointment (I know it would have been the least of my worries :) )

I think I may leave half the stuff at home from now on.

Was just wondering what you lot carried around with you?

Pretty much just my cards and my driving licence.

Don't have a gym card any more, don't have loyalty cards, don't have a PAYG phone.

Im the same as you. I keep all of the above in my wallet as well as:

My mobile number - Incase I loose my wallet and some kind sole wishes to return it,
Student Card
Pub Discount card :p
N.I Card
Almost always some cash

When I go out Im constantly checking I've got my keys, mobile and wallet. I think if I lost either of them i'd be pretty tee'd off.

I carry around only what I need, usually my phone and bank card, it is to risky taking everything out, and with a phone and bank card you are pretty much covered for any eventuality.

i only carry my wallet when i know i will be out for the day/or i am going out to buy something - bank card, AA card, driving license, video rental card, national ins. card

on a night out on the tear - my driving license (for ID)

Debit
CC
Driving license
N.I card

The rest is just little memories, i wouldn't be too phased if i lost it, its all replacable.

all that crap and my passport lol. If i lose mine im really shafted. Maybe time to take it out.

My wallet is probably worth more than the contents.

Usually a tenner in cash
A few loyalty cards
Bank card ( the thief would inherit an overdraft )
And an original 1988 unused Durex ( might Ebay that, it's gotta be worth something )

So no great loss. :D

That always confuses me when people carry it around with them. Is it just in case you get a job when your not expecting it or something?

I've needed it at work and college during several occasions and was glad I hate it in my wallet.

What about I.D when going into clubs/ordering drinks?

These days you need to carry your ID if you're off out, unless of course you look old.

I was just thinking that i carry my debit card, cc, nus extra, rock climbing club membership and my provisional. Id be irritated if i lost it but its not the end of the world

My purse has all the usual crap in (money, driving license, bank cards) and although it would be a pain to replace them, it wouldn't make my world crash :p
