To be fair I think it applied to most gob washes

Can someone please explain to me why you would need to clean your tongue? mine works fine and I can taste different foods, what are the benefits?

supposed to give you fresher breath as lots of bacteria live on the tongue

As a dental student the only advice I can give is to brush the back of the tongue - the bacteria that cause bad breath tend to live there

You're not supposed to brush your tongue, the bristles are too harsh. Get a tongue scraper.
