Do you ever buy some food to last a week, then eat it all in one day?

I have this problem of buying some food, and just eating it all in one go cause its so nice.

Discovered this chickpea paté at co-op, spread it on toast and its LUSH...im racing through a whole loaf of bread :/

This is a major problem, Im gonna be on the half-tonne man documentary in 5 years I bet.

I buy things that are ment to last a week but eat them in the same day. Very expensive but very satisfying.
The Gym sorts out all problems or other things might help in removing a loaf of bread from you.

The Candyman

p.s yes i eat candy every day :D

This is why I only buy my meals a couple of days at a time.

Having said that I'll still eat them one at a time.. and not all in a row

By 'Chickpea pate' do you mean Humous? Because yes, it's amazing :)

I got bought a 'serves 12' cake for my birthday once. She didnt want any. Yum. Serves 12 my rear end. It lasted me 3 sittings, and 1 day. It was like a death by chocolate cake. Very very sweet.

I buy 2 milkshakes on a Friday/Saturday. They disappear before the next day. :o

Don't do it with food though. :)

I usually take advantage of Somerfield's 3 litres (cartons) of fresh fruit juice for £2.86 and they're gone by the next day, I always **** through the eye of a needle then too :(

Always with Innocent smoothies too when they're on special offer, they never last long!

Yeah, I'm really bad with that sort of thing.

It's a cop-out to blame the genes, but my entire family is massively overweight and has eating problems. I'm the only one who has managed to control his weight so far (and I'm only 25 now) mainly through sport, even though I've put on a couple of stone this past year since I stopped rowing.

I've been trying to start losing weight again this past few weeks and it seems to be working, but sometimes when I start eating it takes SO MUCH willpower to stop and not have another bowl / another slice or whatever. The ironic thing is I stopped smoking the other month and managed to do it "just like that" - I thought it would be so hard but in the end I just ignored the cravings and it was all good. I find resisting food so much harder!

Do you have a history of obesity in your family also?

I buy a 2 week worth of shopping every er fortnight. I find it hard to not eat fresh stuff like fruit quickly due to it having such a short life span. And i have to go to the town or supermarket like asda to get my fresh stuff as corner shop stuff is usually half of its life span already and looks really bad compared to asda stuff.

So when i get tomatos and lettice etc and especially bread i try to make sarnys every day out of it before it goes off. So usually i have fresh stuff once per fortnight.

Bread.. Hate it when i get to the shop and most of the bread has only a few days left to go. So usually buy a few loafs and stick em in the freezer.

Milke on the other hand can last awhile. Then if you do run out theres always long life stuff tho it tastes horid but is good for cuppa's if need be.

i bought a 6 pint thingy of milk intending for it to last the week (or as long as possible) and drank it in about 2h.

Always seem to do it with fresh milk so have to buy the crappy skimmed cartons instead.

I normally leave milk till later in the week and drink orange juice at the beginning, however this week we forgot to get orange juice and I have got about half a pint of a 6 pint bottle/carton whatever you want to call it left.

Someone once told me if I was to drink 4 pints of milk in just a few minutes I would be sick, I wonder if that's actually true. :)
