why do you insist on using their name on every sentance  surely once you know its gary thats it, no need to mention the name again.

Im Liam, not many of us outside Ireland. it was odd when younger as our next door neighbours named their kid Liam, which i though was a bit of a bugger.

when growing up i used to get called Ian and Leon all the time as not many people knew the name. then oasis came out and i was ok.

BEEP BEEP BOOP I AM A ROBOT AND DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT MY NAME DOES NOT DEFINE ME AS A PERSON AND NOW I FEEL AWKWARD BEEP BOOP

Come on people, pull it together.

It does feel weird when I hear my name, but when it belongs to someone else. I can only recall meeting one other person called Nathaniel, though I know my name isn't that rare. Still, I (almost) only ever read or hear my name in connection with myself, so when I hear it said by someone on TV, or read it somewhere, my stomach always gives a little excited lurch. :p

naa, Tom's are bloody everywhere.

I have 2 cousins, one 3 months older than me, one 3 weeks older than me, both called Tom.

The logic behind naming us all the same at the time is beyond me, but nevertheless it is what it is!

Never really run into people with the same name as me (Dan), although most of the time people call me by my nickname anyway so it probably wouldn't cause much of a problem.
