Do you fold the page or use a bookmark

I buy all my books used for 1p off Amazon, so folding doesn't bother me. I'm more interested in the words in the book rather than what it looks like.

If it’s a paperback I’ll fold the pages and even bend the spine it’s not comfortable to hold. Most of them get passed on anyway and the paperback won’t feel the pain. :p

As the son of a librarian i kinda have to use a bookmark, but usually it's just anything lying around. Can't seem to hold on to them for that long...

Also as the son of a librarian I don't tend to want for bookmarks. Have myself a nice leather one I've managed to keep for a year or so now - I'll no doubt lose it tomorrow.

It'd be quite funny to see peoples bookmarks since the majority seem to do the same as me and just pickup any flat object. Got 2 on the go at the moment, one marked by a Top Gear top trumps card and the other by some "Nokia maps" phone shaped card, random! :p

I buy my books for about £2 off the net anyway so don't care about longevity, the only people that read them after me are friends, never sell any on. :/
