Do you keep some old games just for sentimental reasons?

i used to trade all my games in when i finished them, but lately on the 360 i have been keeping them, i did take gears 2 in and was offered 2 quid  so i kept it !

if only i could wait long enough for the price to come so low before i buy them ;)

OMG, someone offered 25 euro for Super Probotector Alien Rebels on the SNES

I remember that game, old skool side scrolling shooter, now I wish I could play it again but I guess it's better not to see it again, the memories are nice.
I think that if I would play it again I would be disappointed.

That game is awesome and available on the Wii Shop (I know I got it.)
I also picked up a special edition classic controller in the shape of a SNES pad.

As for keeping old games. I have around 12 consoles with multiple games for each. Some were bought after their heyday and some have been kept for many years.

Unfortunately my flat is small so they are in a cupboard but when I get a bigger place I will set them all up and if I find I don't use them they will be sold.

the only old games i've pretty much kept hold of, are final fantasy 7, 8, 9 and 10. also, i've still got all my pc games from my pc gaming days too. come to think of it i do horde a lot of gaming stuff.. gotta have a clearout.

I have every last one of my games at home. I always remember as a kid, my dad constantly saying how he wished he had kept a lot of his stuff when he was growing up. Things like annuals, comic books, stuff that was old but different and interesting for a young boy to enjoy. I'm keeping mine and I'm hoping one day I'll be able to sit down with my own son and go through some of the stuff from my younger years :)

Don't see the point in selling games, or trading them in. If I want a game, and I enjoy it after playing it, chances are I'll enjoy it again in the future no matter how it compares to the next-gen stuff.

Hell yeah, still got Tombi on ps1 and final fantasy 8, i know for a fact the ff8 discs are totally bodged and dont work but would never give that baby away

Still got everything from my PS1 - I love having a blast from the past every now and again
Last night my 7 year old wanted to play Crash Bandicoot on PS1.

I said sure and popped the game into my PS3 and my GF and son would not believe it would play.
And I have to say everytime I play a PS1 game on the PS3 it looks surprisingly good upscaled.

Everybody's Golf:WT - I still login online every few weeks to see if there are many people around. Think I need to pickup the Japanese version because it was a great online game when it came out.
