So the DS has become the biggest selling UK console in history

Does anyone use theirs on the train/bus on the way to work? I would, but I might feel a bit of a pleb being 27 years old and on one in public, it isn't pink but black in colour.. but still!

On holiday mine had the most use ever was great to kill time at the airport and on the plane, but that felt different.

Anyone play a handheld console while travelling to work?

There was a bloke on the train the other day playing on his original Game Boy Advance (the clear purple, non-backlit one). Respect, I don't know whether he prefers retro gaming but god knows how he actually saw what was going on on the screen.

For the train to London manily , or holiday ...most of the time its collecting dust

lol really? Now that is kicking it old skool style! That guys eye sight will be on its way out if he keeps that up! I really never had much love for the old Game Boys for this reason.

If I got a long journey between jobs then it’s either the PSP or DS but due to lack me of travelling that much it’s usual my Iphone I game on.....but that’s still not classified as an handheld gaming device is it????

I used to love my DS.
I bought a Supercard + Key, an external battery and a bunch of microSD cards, then wedged them full of The Wire episodes.
A 7hr flight nas never gone so quick!
For some reason after that my interest waned, I think it coincided with me getting a more functional mobile phone, I'm now busy with my RSS feeds and stuff during my commute.

Used to use the DS on the train every morning on the way to work.

Didn't take the DS or PSP with me to Prague though :( Anything to kill some time while on public transport is a good thing!

Yep, I used to play all the time on the way to work... Use my laptop too, was playing I-War 2 on the train the other week.

I tend to game on my iPhone if I'm on the bus or train, don't usually take my DS with me unless I know I'll be travelling for several hours.

Much like Davey:
Short journeys = iPhone, long journeys = DS.

Nothing passes a long train journey like a good solid RPG :D

When I was on holiday last I used it a lot to play Chrono Trigger however, I would never use it on a commute to work or short trips.. My wife does on occasion though.

I used to catch the bus regular but I don't anymore (i enjoy walking now) :(

SO my PSP and DS have been gathering dust!....but I might start spending more time n the loo ;)
