Doctor Who Christmas Special Part 1

The Dr really does need to invest in a moped or something, got to be easier to get around with considering all the running he does. Or maybe a back to the future style hoverboard....anything to help speed up all that corridor running. Got to be good for business, I mean it would certainly help him to get from A to B a darned site faster and he might stop arriving moments too late for stuff. He could surely knock one up out of parts from inside the Tardis :)

Didn't think it was to bad tbh, better than the previous one imo. I didn't expect the final scene so that was a bit of a surprise, i look forward to seeing how it all comes to a head next week.

Got to say some parts are still cringeworthy with their sillyness though like the flying master and oaps, they were completely pointless.

I would have thought they could have came up with a better effect for everyone turning into copies of the master, the shaking heads just made me snigger.

Roll on next week :).

Was prety good, a big step up from the last Christmas Special I watched including the "Starship Titanic", dear god that hurt to watch.

Although I am not sure I like the look of Matt Smith for the future...

Jcb33.

That bloody laughing was seriously getting on my nerves, and why is it that "the master" can do all this crap that the doctor can't? Flying, electric bolts etc.

Oh and could Timothy Dalton spit any more at that end speech? I felt like i was about to be drowned.

Absolute pants imo. It was just all over the place at such a pace that I couldn't even follow wtf was going on. Even Barack the Obama was facepalming.

Oh yes I noticed that sputum flying out aswell! I wonder if he just did that and waited to see if anyone would tell him off for it. Obviousley they didnt lol.

hopefully the cringeworthy cheese fest will go with Russell davies.

dr who could be so much more in the right hands

Thats absolutely right tbh, the revamped doctor who just doesn't have any consistency. At one point it trys to be mildly serious and then it devolves into cringeworthy content, its frustrating to watch tbh. As you said with RTD leaving it can only be a good thing.

Just seen a 90sec preview clip of the next episode & Tim Dalton is Lord President of Gallifrey! :D He could be playing the part of Borussa, as other actors have done in the past.

Thought tonights episode was absolutely terrible and seemed to demonstrate everyting bad about Davies style of story. Shame really as I was looking forward to tonights episode particularly after the last one being so brilliant.

nearly all the dr who specials if not all under Russell davies reign have had the worst cheesefest ending possible like the last master ending

no doubt this one will be just as bad

I didnt think that it was too bad, though i do agree that why does the master have the ability to fly and throw lightning bolts but the doctor can't?

Also, what is with mr bond (timothy dalton) spitting sooooo much, and what happened to Gallifrey and all of it's survivors dying? Surely they could have helped a long time ago, pansies lol
