Hello, im a part time worker (student) so i notice when i spend money as i really dont have much.

But i opened my bank statement when i got home to notice a Card purchase of £137 on it

The purchase was.

Payment to Lithuanian
Lithunia transaction for LTL664.00 at exchange rate 4.829 including £3.69 commission.

664 lithunia = 137.51 british pounds.

Wtf?! is this lithunian airlines.. or what? I have no idea what this purchase is and im slightly worried... It says card purchase but ive never lost my card, or given out details. Also ive only ever used ebay and here for buying thins online.

Im slightly worried. What should i do?... obviously i wont be able to get the money back, whatever it is "I" bought

Phone your bank and ask them.

Contact your bank ASAP. They should be able to give your more information and you can challenge the transaction and get your money back. You should also cancel your card and get a new one. Assuming you have a halfway decent bank you will not incur any charges if you go over your overdraft limit as a result of fraudulent use.

Dude ring your bank up asap, in fact do it now. I dont think anyone here will be able to give you the advice or info your looking for...thats what banks are there for...;):p...not only there to take your money but also to help you out should you have any queries about any transactions etc

it's obviously a fraudulent transaction of some form or another. Call your bank and deny it straight away!
they should refund you quickly

Why obviously?

There are all sorts of transactions that can come up with unusual names on a statement. It doesnt necessarily mean they're fraudulent, and making ill-informed statements like yours doesnt really help.

Went down.. sorted.. card been cancelled.

apparently some idiot has bought airline tickets from me... obviously there is no way of tracking who, but apparently its cut and dry and ill be refunded.

I will be sent a new card and sent an incident report thing that i have to send back to the "fraud squad" whatever they are called so they can investigate further.

But i will recieve the money back.

Probably some dodgy terrorist ordering tickets... wonder who
